Parks & Rec. offers two youth soccer seasons each year; in the spring and fall. Registration for spring league is normally taken the entire month of February, with the season beginning the first of April and continuing for 6 weeks. Registration for fall league is normally taken the entire month of July, with the season beginning in September and continuing for 7 weeks. Two programs are offered, Soccer for Fun for 4 year-olds and Youth Soccer for Ages 5-16 (please see additional information regarding each league below).

A free coaches’ clinic for potential and current coaches that have an interest in learning more about coaching youth soccer. At Parks & Rec., our coaching staff is volunteer parents. We’ve had numerous parents say they would like to learn more about coaching before they agree to help, and this is a great opportunity for those who would like to learn more about the sport and the aspects involved with coaching. The clinic will have sessions on coaching techniques, player development, tactical strategies, and leadership skills. Participants will learn how to create effective training sessions, manage player behavior, and foster a positive team culture. They will also receive insights on injury prevention, nutrition, and communication with parents. Overall, it's an opportunity for current and new coaches to enhance their knowledge and skills to better support young athletes in their soccer journey. This time will be spent in a classroom setting, as well as some hands-on time on the field to discuss ways to develop a player’s skill while incorporating teamwork.
